WFC Extraordinary Moves
2011
Description
Extraordinary Moves is a event held at the Arts World Financial Center on July 9th to 17th, a mix of video pieces, art, and live performances. I was involved with helping John Clifford of Think Studio in versioning and creating sketches/mechanicals for this event through the style created by John. Banners and collateral were produced and used around the area to promote and inform of the event.

Credit goes to Think Studio in creative direction and final production unless otherwise noted.

  • A medley of film, art and live performances held as part of the River to River Festival, the World Financial Center’s Extraordinary Moves debuted July 9, 2011 for a nine-day run. My task was to assist Think Studio’s John Clifford in versioning, as well as creating sketches and mechanicals for the event. Banners and collateral were produced in the creative direction of Think Studio and displayed in downtown Manhattan to promote the event.

  • Event-goers walking below colorful flagpole banners displayed throughout World Financial Center’s Winter Garden.
  • I assisted in the production of sketches and mechanicals for East Wall banners, measuring 462 by 106 inches. These contiguous banners were on display ahead and above visitors looking east into the Winter Garden during performances.

  • I worked with Think Studio to create sketches and mechanicals for this hanging banner, measuring 168 by 18 inches, hanging above the Shops and Restaurants entrance at World Financial Center.
  •  This hanging banner was on display at the Liberty Street Pedestrian Bridge in downtown Manhattan. Measuring 192 by 36 inches, I helped create sketches and mechanicals.
