  • Created in the spring semester of Prof. Pablo Medina's Experimental Typography class, the goal was to create 3-Dimensional type out of a cardboard substrate in any form and to display the sentence in a public space. Three places were chosen: Parsons the New School of Design's 2 west 13th campus, Union Square South, and 14th St-Union Sq station. A link to the work can be seen at the video below.
  • Process
  • Producing the work in process, from the use of chipboard to spraying them with Montana cans.
  • The word given to me was HIP; typeface used was DIN Schrift.
  • In Action
  • Our sentence displayed outside of school at 2 west 13th street.
  • A time lapse shot of people going through the space and observing the sentence.
  • The sentence on display inside the Union Square station.
