War Kills the Lazy Hip Crowd During the Grey Bailout - Created in the spring semester of Prof. Pablo Medina's Experimental Typography class, the goal was to create 3-Dimensional type out of a cardboard substrate in any form and to display the sentence in a public space. Three places were chosen: Parsons the New School of Design's 2 west 13th campus, Union Square South, and 14th St-Union Sq station. A link to the work can be seen at the video below.

Producing the work in process, from the use of chipboard to spraying them with Montana cans.
The word given to me was HIP; typeface used was DIN Schrift.- In Action

"Lunch Hour NYC looks back at more than a century of New York lunches, when the city’s early power brokers invented what was yet to be called “power lunch,” local charities established a 3-cent school lunch, and visitors with guidebooks thronged Times Square to eat lunch at the Automat. Drawing on materials from throughout the Library, the exhibition explores the ways in which New York City—work-obsessed, time-obsessed, and in love with ingenious new ways to make money—reinvented lunch in its own image."

Lester's NYC is a local mom and pop company that has done business selling the latest fashion trends for over 60 years. Working with Alexander Interactive's Design, UX, and Dev teams, we worked to simplify the shopping experience and help parents understand the needs their children will have for sleepaway camp. Tudor House is Chef Geoffrey Zakarian's Miami restaurant - he owns renowned New York locales such as The National and is a judge on the Food Network.

Extraordinary Moves is a event held at the Arts World Financial Center on July 9th to 17th, a mix of video pieces, art, and live performances. I was involved with helping John Clifford of Think Studio in versioning and creating sketches/mechanicals for this event through the style created by John. Banners and collateral were produced and used around the area to promote and inform of the event.

Google's most recent campaign comes with the simple message: There is a perfect ad for everyone. Even those this space is doing great, it can do even better with the magic that Google can offer. TargetSpot is an internet audio advertising platform that allows companies to sell their products through audio stations such as Grooveshark, AOL Radio, Y! Radio, and many more. Working in collaboration with agency Love and War, I was invited to create illustrations summarizing each of the many categories on the company's website.

Inspired by the Chinese ideographic principle of associative compounds and the use of the modular system of the square, I want to capture memories of growing up triggered by visual imagery. Using the game as an interactive medium, the user discovers the visual relationship of ideas, individual or communal, that can be applied to their local context.
