I enjoy thinking and long conversations that explore the possible outcomes, mediums, and meanings to solving a problem. Culture plays a large role in my life, and growing up as an Asian-American has allowed me to appreciate the need for celebrating difference, and the importance of delving into different mindsets in order to produce unique and appropriate solutions. My first love is the printed and physical form, but I want to be of service and open to learning other mediums such as interactive, web and motion while applying design principles across.
The circle and the square are a reference to myself growing up, the circle being an introduction to Chinese culture, and the square as American. An eventual acceptance and balance with both allows me the chance to embrace both as a means to explore, and ultimately grow while within it finding intriguing nuances.
Please take a moment to look through the work. Any comments, questions, or criticism is gladly accepted. I have been fortunate enough to have recently worked with Love & War, Johannes Leonardo, Think Studio, Pure+Applied and Opening Ceremony. If you are interested in working with me, please feel free to contact me. I hope to hear from you soon!
